Hands-On Army Building

No King No Kingdom VR is a real-time strategy game created by Fullmetal Developer. Fullmetal Developer is an independent game developer based in Russia who also created the hack'n'slash Action/RPG Heroes of Dark Dungeon. The game lets players take the role of a king and command an army on foot.

First-Person Field Command

No King No Kingdom VR takes inspiration from classic real-time strategy games, particularly Warcraft 3 and Age of Empires 2. While few real-time strategy games have attempted to let players be on the battlefield with their units, this game provides that immersion similar to Mount and Blade. Players build their army on the ground they are currently standing. Every game starts by commanding peasants to collect resources. There are also wild animals roaming in the battlefield, invoking a thriving and breathing environment. After gathering enough food, wood, rocks, and metals, then players can command other peasants to build important infrastructures and fortifications to protect themselves. This includes walls, towers, and castles. They can also conduct research technologies that will provide them an advantage over enemy kingdoms. There are also artifacts that can be collected and each artifact grants special skills. Users might find those skills helpful during crucial moments like sieges or defenses. Once the ideal army size is recruited and the defense is completed, users can lead their army against hordes of mobs, as well as overwhelming bosses. They will also have to siege well-defended enemy castles. Some of the enemies that players will face are orcs, spiders, the undead and dragons. The real-time strategy game also allows players to control familiar fantasy creatures such as elves, goblins, golems, and even orcs. A successful siege requires conserving resources, plotting right formations and timing when to use skills.

Kingdoms To Conquer

Players can explore more of the game with the Campaign mode. Each mission has their own objectives like capturing villages, storming enemy castles and repelling invasions from attacks. Players are provided with a hexagonal-tiled map to view their kingdoms, at the same time survey neighboring territories. This real-time strategy game includes a sandbox mode where players can freely create their ideal fantasy world without the worry of completing any objectives or having their castle destroyed. Sandbox mode lets users explore the game mechanics and they might find more secrets or techniques to improve their strategy against stronger enemies.

Immersing With Army Sized Fantasy Combat

No King No Kingdom VR gives the players the chance of experiencing real time strategy combat closer to them rather than the typical bird’s eye view. It gives a more immersive and intimate feel to every game campaign.
